F.lli Rossetto produces polyurethane seats from the design phase through to packaging. The entire production cycle is carried out independently, through the expertise of our professionals and using cutting-edge machinery. Utmost meticulousness is the hallmark of our entire production, with a view to exceeding, not only our customers’ expectations, but also the quality standards that F.lli Rossetto has imposed on itself for 60 years.
Comprehensive internal processes
The plant in Trebaseleghe, Padova, covers 40,000 square metres and includes every production phase, including the design and construction of wooden structures, internal iron frames, and both flexible and integral polyurethane components. Mass production is split into two areas: a line of contract furniture and a line of lounge chairs and sofas.
Design
Starting from a design, an idea or even just a feeling of comfort, F.lli Rossetto develops a precise project that takes into account specific needs, spaces and performances. But which form of polyurethane fits the design best? Rely on a company with 60 years of experience.
Prototyping
Prototyping brings to life an idea of comfort. The design sketches of the object to be produced are optimised using 3D programs and then transformed into tangible objects with rapid prototyping. The seats and components can thus be touched first hand, and any problems that had not emerged at the design phase can thus be resolved. It is also possible to implement the aesthetic finishes required.
Production
Step 1
Once the prototype has been approved, we produce the moulds for moulding the polyurethane and for welding the metal insert.
Step 2
A first sample is produced. The seat performance is assessed, and any necessary design changes are made.
Step 3
Production is launched, following production datasheets to comply with the F.lli Rossetto quality standards.
Finish
Production is now complete. Every polyurethane piece is meticulously cleaned and deburred, rigorously by hand.
Packaging
A packaging datasheet is drawn up for each piece. This states the type and size of box to be used, the number of pieces per box, and any use of rubber bands, partitions or polystyrene blocks - whatever may be required to ensure the piece is stored safely and undamaged.
According to need, we package our products in neutral boxes supplied by us or in customised boxes supplied by the customer.
